The Taurus Raging Hunter is a high-performance, large-bore revolver that comes packed with Taurus exclusive features. This heavy-duty sidearm is available in an wide assortment of heavy-hitting cartridges including .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .454 Casull, and .460 S&W Magnum. These powerful chamberings makes the Raging Hunter a perfect choice for tackling larger game, a home defense weapon, or as a self-defense weapon while hiking through bear country. The Raging Hunter utilizes a bull-barrel that isavailable in multiple barrel length configurations such as 5-1/8", 6-3/4", 8-3/8", 10-1/2", and even 14". All of the barrel configurations feature a distinctive angular design that reduces the weapon's overall weight. The barrel's muzzle is outfitted with factory tuned porting that redirects expanding gasses upwards to help alleviate recoil and promote faster follow up shots as well as quicker target acquisition. Another distinctive barrel feature is an integrated picatinny rail, allowing the user to install a rifle-sized red dot or holographic sight, and a magnified handgun optic can be equipped to further enhance accuracy and extend the Raging Hunter's effective range.
