The Taurus Defender 605 is chambered in the potent .357 Magnum/.38 Special +P cartridge, is easy to conceal and is exceptionally reliable. It utilizes a 5-shot cylinder which gives the weapon a slender width of just under 2-inches, allowing the Defender 605 to be carried in a waistband holster with little to no imprinting. The cylinder, frame, and barrel are made from high-strength stainless steel, and feature a Tungsten Cerakote finish for optimal protection from the elements, corrosion, and scuffing. Other features of the Defender 605 include wooden grips made by Altamont, which gives the weapon a classic appearance and feature a stippled texture and finger grooves for ergonomics.In addition, the Defender 605 includes an extended ejector rod, as well as night sights for accurate shooting in low light situations.
