Sig Sauer's MPX Copperhead delivers high performance, versatility, and modularity in a compact package. This PDW utilizes the proven closed bolt gas piston system which is known for its reliability as well as ruggedness. Like all of the premium firearms in the MPX family, the MPX Copperhead is highly modular, allowing the user to interchange handguards, different barrel lengths, and install multiple muzzle devices such as suppressors and brakes. The rear of the MPX Copperhead also features a picatinny rail for installing a pistol brace, or can be outfitted with a stock to convert the weapon into a Short Barreled Rifle (NFA paperwork required). The MPX Copperhead's magazine well is flared, promoting faster reloads, and features a textured surface on the front for a handy gripping surface. Other features of the MPX Copperhead include a full length picatinny rail for installing iron sights and optics, and ambidextrous controls accommodate both left and right handed shooters.

Features of the MPX Copperhead:

• Short-Stroke Piston System - Reduce recoil and fouling with the gas-operated, short-stroke piston system. The bolt is held open on the last round fired.
• Rotating Bolt System - A fully locked and closed rotating bolt system provides maximum safety in case of bullet or water obstruction in the bore.
• AR-Style, Ambidextrous Control - No retraining required. The SIG MPX features a familiar, AR-style ambidextrous selector and magazine release.
• Rear Charging Handle - Does not interfere with rail-mounted accessories.
