Sig Sauer's M17 CO2 Pellet Pistol is based on the U.S. Army's P320-M17, and shares many of the same desirable qualities. These similarities include an ambidextrous safety, a countered trigger, and serrations on the front of the trigger guard to promote greater trigger discipline. The metal slide is optics ready for use with a micro red dot, and features the same tactical Coyote Tan finish. The M17 CO2 Pellet Pistol utilizes a full blowback action, and the ejection port can be opened to verify a pellet is chambered for an unmatched level of realism.

One of the M17 CO2 Pellet Pistol's more notable features is its self-contained 2-piece magazine. The first piece contains the pellets using Sig's patented rotary belt-fed design.
