The Savage Arms 110 Ultralite Elite combines the best technologies available to create the ultimate lightweight hunting rifle. It comes standard with the HNT26 chassis made by MDT. The HNT26 is made using carbon fiber and magnesium as its primary building materials to reduce weight. In addition to saving weight, the carbon fiber and magnesium construction makes the HNT26 incredibly durable and rigid, and an enclosed carbon fiber forend provides additional strength. The carbon fiber features a foam filled interior to deaden sound and absorb recoil, is foldable, and features an adjustable cheek piece. The 110 Ultralite Elite's lightweight HNT26 chassis is perfectly paired with a carbon fiber wrappedstainless steel barrel made by PROOF Research. The HNT26 chassis combined with the PROOF Research carbon fiber wrapped barrel gives the 110 Ultralite Elite a weight of just over 6 lbs, making it an ideal mountain rifle.
