The Savage Arms Apex Hunter XP comes ready to hunt right out of the box. It comes with a pre-mounted, bore-sighted Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm Riflescope as well as a pair of Vortex Hunter rings. The Crossfire II features a Dead-Hold BDC reticle for accommodating bullet drop and wind drift. The platform provides accuracy and adjustability like thanks to the Savage AccuTrigger, thread-in headspacing, floating bolt head and precision button-rifled barrel. The Apex Hunter XP is rounded out with a easily adjustable length of pull.
