Sauer sets a new standard for entry level rifles with the Sauer 100 LWT HS Precision. It comes equipped with the H-S Precision Stock, a lightweight synthetic stock with a sizable butt pad to absorb recoil as well as texturing for a superior purchase over the weapon. The Sauer 100 LWT HS Precision's barrel is fluted to shave off a little weight, and is free floating to promote greater accuracy. The barrel is topped with muzzle threads to accommodate the use of a muzzle device, and is cold hammer forged for a long service life. Other features include a three position safety: the first position locks the bolt and blocks the firing pin, the second position blocks the firing pin but the bolt can still be opened to clear the weapon, and the third position is fire. Like all of the rifles in Sauer's 100 series, the Sauer 100 LWT HS Precision incorporates Sauer's silky smooth action, something that has established Sauer as one of Germany's finest rifle makers.
