New for 2024, Nightforce's CFS (Configurable Field Spotting Scope) 6-36x50mm delivers balanced ergonomics, flexible configuration options, intuitive reticle designs, and the durability and refined optical qualitythat Nightforce optics are known for. It features a straight, streamlined profile reminiscent of a riflescope. This eliminates the risk of snagging on loose clothing and equipment, and allows the CFS to be conveniently carried in or on a pack. The controls are located in the center of the scope and feature knurled rubber rings, and 120° of rotation.

To ensure maximum user configurability, the CFS 6-36x50mm spotting scope comes with a Spotting Scope Accessory Cage kit. The accessory cage attaches to the CFS with 6 fasteners for a solid interface between the optic and cage. This cage provides 5 M-LOK mounting locations as well as ?-20 threaded holes for attaching popular accessories.

Additionally, this CFS unit is equipped with the MIL-XTs °C an intuitive reticle designed to be used in conjunction with riflescopes with MIL-XT reticles. The MIL-XTs is first focal plane, and can well suited for both low and high magnification settings. When set to low power, the MIL-XTs feature 50 MIL-Radian goal posts to the left and right to provide coarse Mil-Radian adjustments, facilitating clear shooter/spotter communication. When set to high power, the the inverted grid of the reticle is offset to maintain a clear view of bullet trace, while providing fine subtensions for precise corrections. Additionally, a section of 0.1 Mil-Radian subtensions is included at the base of the grid for accurate range estimation.
