The Vudu 1-6x24mm Riflescope by EOTech is equally suited for use with bolt-action rifles as well as AR-type platforms, and comes equipped with the exclusive features that EOTech is known for. It features a one-piece construction of aircraft grade aluminum and nitrogen purging to prevent internal fogging. The lenses are made from XC high-density, low-dispersion glass multiple lens coatings to reduce light reflections, enhance light transmission, and provide superior edge-to-edge clarity. Both the windage and elevation turrets are exposed, allowing the user to make adjustments in the field, and provide an audible and tactile click to assist the shooter in making proper point-of-impact corrections. Other features of the Vudu 1-6x24mm include the advanced SR-1 reticle to deliver maximum versatility at short to medium range. The SR-1 is composed of a precise 0.29 MIL free floating dot in the center of vertical and horizontal crosshairs with 1 MIL hashmarks for windage and elevation °C this configuration sits in the middle of EOTech's iconic Speed Ring. When set to low magnification, the Speed Ring can be used to quickly acquire and engage targets at close range by simply placing the ring over the target and firing. When set to higher magnification, the Speed Ring disappears and the inner crosshairs come into view, allowing the shooter to use the hashmarks to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift, as well as determining the distances of targets with a known height.
