The Recurve hunting boots take much of their design from Danner's traditional styles, but are outfitted with a wide array of modern advancements making them a perfect choice for any type of outdoor application. The Recurves are built around Danner's DPDX foot model to provide extreme versatility in a low profile package. The upper portion of the Recurve is constructed from a combination of full-grain leather and leather suede, together these materials create a durable upper that's highly resistant to abrasion. To ensure maximum resistance to the elements, the Recurve boots are equipped with the exclusive Danner Dry, a 100% waterproof barrier that prevents water from seeping in, but allows moisture to escape. For comfort, these boots come with a removable OrthoLite footbed which is composed of three layers of open-cell polyurethane. Each layer varies in density and an open-cell design helps dissipate excess heat and promotes air circulation. In addition, the Recurve boots feature the Vibram SPE Midsole and the Vibram Recurve Outsole. The Vibram SPE Midsole offers excellent cushioning properties without sacrificing durability and enhances rebound, comfort, and support. The Vibram Recurve Outsole is specially formulated with the Megagrip compound and utilizes adapting lugs and flex lines to provide superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces.
