Building upon the Wolf-9SD, the Wolfman offers a versatile, durable, and multi-caliber design highly suited for handguns, pistol-caliber carbines, and even light-duty rifles. Like many of Dead Air's other suppressors, the Wolfman features a user-configurable, modular design °C allowing the shooter shorten or lengthen the suppressor based on individual needs and preferences. Should length and weight be a priority, the user can select the short configuration giving the Wolfman a length of just 5.13" and a weight of a mere 9.8 ounces. However, the user can run the Wolfman in its full-length configuration for superior sound reduction. To maximize muzzle suppression and at-ear performance, the Wolfman features a large internal volume and a sizable blast chamber. To reduce sound even further, the Wolfman can be outfitted with a user-provided rubber wipe in the front cap. Other features of the Wolfman include a wide range of compatible cartridges such as the majority of popular handgun cartridges like 9mm and .380 (even on fully automatic fire) but can also handle rifle cartridges such as 5.56, .300 Blackout, and 7.62x39 (Note: the Wolfman is rated for semiautomatic fire only when using supersonic rifle ammunition). In addition, the Wolfman attaches to the host-weapon via Dead Air's included KeyMicro adapter or the KeyMicro 1/2x28" brake - both of which offer a solid interface between the weapon and suppressor.
