The NX15 by Seekins Precision was designed for the discerning sport and competition shooter, and comes equipped with a plethora of Seekins exclusive features. Both the upper and lower receiver are skeletonized to reduce excess weight without compromising the rifle's integrity. The upper is precision machined from 7075-T6 billet, and features a Type III Class 2 hard coat for perfect resistance to the elements. The lower features an Enhanced Bolt Catch and Ambi-release, as well as custom screw in dowel pins, hammers, and pin punches to make assembly and disassembly easy. To make suppressed shooting as seamless as possible, the NX15 is equipped with a Low Profile Adjustable Gas Block. This allows the user to finely tune the rifle to fit their specific ammunition preference and suppressor for faster follow up shots, target acquisition, and greater reliability. For limitless customization options, the NX15 is outfitted with the NOXS handguard. The NOXS features multiple M-LOK attachment points in the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for use with tactical lights, lasers, fore-grips and other accessories. This handguard also features a full length picatinny rail in the 12 o'clock position with more than enough rail space for installing optics, iron sights, and clip-on night vision and thermal devices. In addition, the NX15 comes standard with Seekins Precision's own NEST flash hider. This advanced muzzle device swirls the hot gasses exiting the barrel immediately, which in turn extinguishes the flame and eliminates the visible flash. The NEST flash hider utilizes Melonited steel, so carbon fouling won't adhere to it for easier cleaning. Removing and re-installing the NEST flash hider is equally as simple; its non-symmetrical design removes the need to time the muzzle device, the need for crush or peel washers, and the need to special tools.
