The Burris Veracity 5-25x50mm Riflescope was specifically designed for big game and varmint hunters who needed a durable optic capable of extreme long range precision. One of the Veracity's more notable features is its advanced Ballistic Plex E1 Reticle, which is composed of a fine center cross with MOA tick marks across the horizontal crosshair and across the upper portion of the vertical crosshair. The Ballistic Plex E1 is capable of trajectory compensation up to 700 yards away, and features wind-hold dots representing 10 m.p.h. wind speeds. This reticle design is simple, allowing for accurate bullet drop and wind compensation without any distracting clutter. The Ballistic Plex E1 Reticle also incorporates Progressively Thick Crosshairs (PTC) which are very fine in the center and progressively thicker away from the center to promote faster target acquisition/engagement in low light and at close range. The first focal plane reticle design allows the reticle size to increase or decrease as magnification is increased or decreased; trajectory compensation is always correct and proportional for the selected power setting.
