The FX-9 trigger by TriggerTech is almost an exact copy of TriggerTech's AR-9 trigger, complete with a lower center of percussion and a hammer with more mass. The difference is a lower disconnect engagement to provide more space needed for the FX-9 platform bolt carrier group.

These triggers were made to feel like that of a 1911, with a short overtravel and a two-stage action. In addition, the Pistol Caliber Carbine Triggers utilize Zero Creep Technology which doesn't rely on coating or lubrication, so each trigger pull will be just as consistent as the last. The Pistol Caliber Carbine Triggers also features CLKR Technology for the smoothest possible pull and a weight that can be adjusted in 2 ounce increments from a set screw. Even when set to the lightest possible setting, changing the pull weight doesn't affect the dependability of hammer strikes, so reliability is never an issue.
