The Like Mike II by Carter Enterprises is a high performance release that comes standard with a wide assortment of exclusive features and innovations. The tension screw on the Like Mike II is on the side of the case, which accommodates easier access for tension adjustment and reduces the case length. Tension can be finely tuned to the user's preference, with an adjustment range between 10 ounces to roughly 3.5 pounds. Tension can be increased even further by inserting the supplied steel ball, raising the tension as high as 11 pounds. In addition, the Like Mike II is equipped with Carter's own Controlled Engagement System which negates the need for a trigger travel adjustment screw as sear engagement is controlled internally by design and tolerance.
