Gun Mode is optimized so that the range displayed will be the farthest distance value of a group of targets that are within your field of view. This mode is very beneficial if you are trying to range a target through trees or other obstructions. Archery Mode gives you accurate and simple ranging information with ultimate confidence. In Archery Mode, the Horizontal Angle-Corrected Distance provides a true shoot-at distance no matter the terrain or hunting style.
