Manurhin pays tribute to one of the finest revolvers in the world with the MR73 50th Anniversary Special Edition. This elegant, yet highly utilitarian sidearm is 1 of only 50 units available in the U.S., and offers the same exceptional features as the standard model as well as a wide array of exclusive qualities to enhance both performance and aesthetics. One of the most notable additions is golden engravings on the barrel, giving the MR73 50th Anniversary a highly sophisticated appearance. The graceful aesthetics are further enhanced thanks to a custom made oil finished wood grips with an original Manurhin gold medallion on the left side. These grips feature texturing and ergonomic finger grooves help reduce recoil. The MR73 50th Anniversary also ships with an interchangeable cylinder chambered for 9mm Parabellum. The extra cylinder gives the user a low-cost, low-recoil option for target practice, and effectively makes the MR73 50th Anniversary compatible with 3 different calibers - .357 Magnum, .38 Special, and9mm Parabellum. Other features exclusive to the MR73 50th Anniversary include a fiber optic front sight for and enhanced sight picture, as well as a deluxe ABS case for a convenient storage/transportation option.

In addition to its exclusive additions, the MR73 50th Anniversary shares all of the same amazing qualities as the standard model. It features a unique trigger system that delivers one of the smoothest trigger pulls ever found on a double action with zero-creep. The cylinder of the MR73 is fully machined from forged, ordnance-certified steel billets, and the chamber finish is conducted by an impact process resulting in remarkably smooth chamber walls and long service life. In addition, all fitting and adjusting of the MR73 is done entirely by hand by master gunsmiths including deburring, polishing and assembling the mechanical parts. Before being released, each revolver is test-fired for accuracy at the factory, where it must be able to achieve a grouping diameter of 20mm at a range of 25 meters, any MR73 unable to achieve this level of accuracy is not released.
