FN America's FN 509 Tactical is an upgraded version of FN America's popular FN 509 semi-automatic striker fired handgun. The FN 509 Tactical adds several features to the all-ready feature rich FN 509 series. Most notably the fact that it is compatible with and ships with two 24 round magazines (and one 17 round magazine). The FN 509 Tactical also features a threaded barrel (1/2"x28 tpi) making it ready for a suppressor or compensator right out the box, additionally these handguns come standard with suppressor height night sights. The FN 509 is the first of FN America's handguns to use the patented FN Optics Mounting System, allowing you easily attach a wide variety of low profile reflex sights to the FN 509 Tactical.
