Mossberg's 940 Pro Turkey was built from the ground up for the avid turkey hunter, boasting new camo patterns and sight options. Like all shotguns in the 940 family, the 940 Pro Turkey is outfitted with a durable gas system that features a corrosion resistant nickel boron coating on all of the internal parts and a cleaner running gas vent that allows the 940 Pro Turkey to run reliably for up to 1500 rounds between cleanings. The durable gas system is topped off with a competition level loading port, elevator, and follower.

The 940 Pro Turkey's stock is adjustable for drop and length of pull, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for optics. Additionally, select models of the 940 Pro Turkey are available Holosun HS407K Micro Red Dot Sights. All variations of the 940 Pro Turkey feature a Mossy Oak Greenleaf Camo pattern.
