Like its predecessor the standard Sub-1, the Sub-1 LITE gets its name from its ability to consistently shoot 1-inch groupings at 100 yards. This rifle-like accuracy can be attributed to an extensive development process, innovative technologies, and user-friendly features. One of the SUB-1 LITE's more notable aspects is its Controlled Acceleration. This feature is essentially the heart of the SUB-1 LITE, and utilizes multiple systems, rather than one specific part. The Controlled Acceleration starts with a CNC machined flight deck as well as two round and coaxial Sync X Cams °C the combination of which results in the elimination of vertical and horizontal nock travel and a constant string travel distance, giving the SUB-1 LITE its signature level of accuracy. The Sync X Cams also provide 80% let-off, making the crossbow effortless to cock/de-cock. The SUB-1 LITE's long range precision is perfectly complimented by its ease of use and user adjustability. Unlike the majority of crossbows in the same class, the SUB-1 LITE doesn't require a bow-press to replace strings or cables, allowing the user to service the SUB-1 LITE in the field. The fit and feel of the SUB-1 LITE can also be finely tuned to the shooter's preference; the stock's length of pull can be altered in 6 positions, as well as a comb height that can be adjusted by 1.25 inches.
