The 1911 Handgun has been used the world over for more than a century, today Savage Arms pays homage to this iconic pistol with their own line of 1911 style handguns. Available in .45 ACP and 9mm as well as in an assortment of different color options, Savage's 1911s all come standard with a 5-inch stainless steel barrel. The barrel is precision machined from solid billet and features an 11° target crown for match-grade accuracy. The forged stainless steel slide features a flared and lowered ejection port that's been cut for live round ejection for easily clearing the weapon. Additionally, select models of Savage's 1911 come with an accessory rail for lights and lasers.
