Optimize your Tikka T3 or T3x rifle with Mountain Tactical's Gen2 Performance Series Picatinny Rail! It utilizes the T3 or T3x's Opti-Lock recess in the action, so the recoil lug absorbs the shearing forces of recoil instead of the screws that most other mounting systems use. These rail mounts contact the scope rings over the entire width of the mount, thus minimizing the risk of damage from heavy recoil. The rails themselves are precision machined from a solid piece of 6061 aluminum with an extremely tight tolerance of +/- .0005". The rails are also given a type-3 anodizing finish with a Rockwell Hardness value between 60 and 70 to ensure a lifetime of service.
