The Guardian is the lightest 1911-style handgun in the Dan Wesson lineup, and is an excellent concealed carry option. The Guardian's light weight can be attributed to its aluminum frame, as well as a skeletonized tactical hammer. The Guardian shares a similar profile to the Dan Wesson Commander Classic with its bobbed mainspring housing, this results in a reduction in frame size as well as less printing while carrying the weapon concealed.
