It comes equipped with a cold hammer forged, .866" cylindrical heavy barrel, which offers excellent harmonics and allows the rifle to reliably run a wide array of rimfire loads. This translates to exceptional accuracy for any rimfire application, from plinking targets to small game hunting. The is constructed from premium Turkish walnut, and features an American-style comb to accommodate use with scopes, and a wide, flat fore-end is perfect for riding a sandbag. The 457 Varmint's bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights.
